Alkmaar
There is no parking space at the start location at restaurant Alkmaarse Poort. Parking on the adjacent site of Ranzijn and Gamma is only for customers of those stores and at your own risk. The gate closes at 17.00 hours at the latest.

Therefore parking attendants point motorists to Industrieterrein Oudorp, where there is ample free parking on Edisonweg or Keesomweg; about 1 km from the start. From there, direct to the centre. Over the Schermerweg bridge, turn left at the traffic lights to Edisonweg. Follow the signposts.

The ferry at the Leeghwaterbrug does not run on Sundays. Are you coming by bike? Then check which route you can take best to avoid the ferry.
