Hoorn is the city of the 'Gouden Eeuw' and that is clearly visible. The start and finsih is located on the Kerkplein, it is an unique location. The cafes definitely provide the right atmosphere where you can get a nice cup of coffee or even a cold beer.

The Markt in Schagen has perhaps the nicest terraces in West-Friesland. Large events such as Paasvee and Popweekend are regularly held on this unique square around the church. The Ronde van de Westfriese Omringdijk can now be added to that list! Schagen is the city of the West Frisian Volklore and the weekly West Frisian Market. There is plenty of space here to enjoy coffee on the terrace before and after your tour and a good beer afterwards.
